Release of illegally seized Mobile phones, laptops, etc. by the Tax Department

Jodhpur High Court was pleased to allow relief under the Writ petition wherein the State Tax Department illegally seized the electronic items like mobile phones, laptops, and CPUs of the Assessee on the ground of continued investigation. However, there was no substantive outcome from these investigations, and the items were still not released. The client, troubled by these notorious actions, pursued a Writ petition at the Jodhpur High Court and the Court ordered for release and compliance of the electronic items.
